Parker Bahr of Bonne Terre passed away January 7, 2023, at his home. He was found on Easter morning, April 4, 2010, in the St. Joe State Park by Dave and Sonya (Henson) Bahr, while on a family camping trip. According to Parker’s vet, he was approximately 3 years old at the time he was found. Parker was the best find and already train to do so many things. Parker enjoyed everything but touching his paws. The joys include car and side by side rides, camping, walking, gatherings, snuggling and most of all, eating. Before losing his hearing, the sound of an inside cat barfing, would wake him up from a deep sleep, knowing an extra treat was awaiting his arrival.
He was preceded in death by maternal human great-grandma Minnie “MeeMaw” Cowley; paternal great-grandparents; Alfred and Henrietta Bahr; dog sisters, Bella and Mama Dog; dog brother, Buddy Bear; and one cat sister, Bayler.
Parker is survived by his human parents, Dave and Sonya Bahr; maternal human grandparents; Bonnie Henson, Lenny and Sharon Henson; paternal human grandparents, Dennis (Jean) Bahr, Patann and Jim Monroe; new dog brother, Boomer; cat brothers, Baxter, Johnny and Mid-Night; cat sisters, Shoppie, Mittens, Snuggie, Bashful; and one fish; several human aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also survive and will miss him greatly.
Mommy and Daddy loves him so much, but know he is now running across that rainbow bridge with his floppy ears a flapping, to meet up with Bella, Mama Dog, Buddy, Bayler and to get a treat from MeeMaw. He can hear again and hopefully his breath smells more like something fresh than butt.
Dear Parker, Mommy thanks you for sending the Cardinal Red Bird to tell me you are OK now. Until we meet again, mommy and daddy love you MUCH!!!
