Oscar Thebeau

June 11, 2006 — January 17, 2025

Park Hills

Oscar Thebeau, a schnoodle, of Park Hills crossed over the rainbow bridge on January 17, 2025 in the arms of his mom after being a lifelong loyal companion of 18 years 7 months. He was born on June 11, 2006. Adopted by his mom when she was just five years old and they've been inseparable ever since.

In his prime, Oscar loved car rides, spending time outdoors with his fur siblings and begging anyone around him to pet him. He was always at the door to greet his mom with kisses and excitement. His unconditional love and loyalty was shown as he stayed by her side through heartache, grief and happiness as well as huge life changes. When Oscar wasn't enjoying the things he loved to do most, he would spend his time bickering with his fur brother, Gizmo, and his fur sister, Daisy, until her passing in February of 2015.

Oscar would never let his mom go anywhere in the house without being by her side and LOVED being able to sleep in the ‘hooman’ bed with her every night. His shadow will be missed but his fur brother will do a GREAT job at taking over his role as protector. He was small in size but a fighter at heart as he would often bark at bigger dogs or animals in an attempt to scare them away from his ‘hooman’(probably just a bit jealous).

Oscar is survived by his human parents, Jessica Thebeau and Dalton Pyatt; dog brother, Gizmo Thebeau; maternal human grandparents, Bruce and Christi Thebeau; paternal human grandmother, Nikki Pyatt; many others, friends and family, who got the chance to meet him also survive and will remember the amazing companion that he was.

Fly high over that rainbow bridge baby boy and find Daisy. Until we meet again.

“No time on earth is long enough to share with the animals we love, or prepare our hearts to say goodbye”
