Little Mama

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Little Mama, who left us unexpectedly on January 15, 2025, at her residence in Farmington at the age of 5. Born in Curryville, Missouri, she came into our lives as a stray kitten when we were visiting family. Her human brother, Isaiah, found her and brought her home, quickly making her a beloved member of the family. Isaiah, who was just three years old at the time, named her “Little Mama,” and the name stuck as a fitting tribute to her nurturing spirit.

Little Mama is survived by her devoted human parents, Dustin and Garrett Sellars; her caring human brother, Isaiah Sellars; her loving human sister, Oakleigh Sellars; her feline brother, Yeti; her canine sisters, Roxy and Autumn; her human grandparents, Hannah and Jason Betz, and Cindy and Paul Sellars; her human great-grandparents, Dennis and Donna Curry, and Dee (Jarvis Kimbrough) Stringer; her human aunt, Tabitha (Anthony) Burleson; her human uncle, Layne Betz; her human cousin, Wrenleigh Burleson; and her human great aunt, Laura (Kasey) Nations. 

She was a joyful spirit who brought endless love and laughter to her family. Little Mama had a playful nature and cherished her cuddle time, especially snuggling with her human siblings. She loved having her belly rubbed and enjoyed basking in the sun, often found watching the world go by through the glass sliding doors. Additionally, she took great pleasure in admiring the Christmas trees each year, displaying curiosity without ever bothering them. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered for the warmth and comfort she brought to our lives.
