Goodyear Stanfill

Goodyear, our cherished and loyal sweet boy, peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge on Thursday, February 29, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of unwavering love and enduring loyalty. He was 11 1/2 years old.

From the day Goodyear chose us many years ago, his loyalty became the heartbeat of our family. He wasn't just a pet; he was a devoted friend whose presence filled our lives with comfort and companionship. 

Goodyear was more than just a companion; he was a protector for his boys. He had an innate sense of responsibility and would always stay close or within eyesight, a vigilant protector ensuring their safety and well-being when they were young. 

Goodyear's loyalty extended beyond the walls of our home. He became a neighborhood icon, known for his steadfast companionship on evening strolls with his beloved friends. Goodyear's loyal spirit was not only felt in the quiet moments at home but also in the genuine connections he forged during his neighborhood walks where he enveloped those around him with genuine warmth and affection.

Goodyear's loyalty was a beacon of love that touched the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He taught us the true meaning of loyalty, leaving an indelible mark on our lives.
