Garfield "Rollie Pollie" Estes

Garfield Estes of Mineral Point was born on March 17, 2013. He peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge as he was sleeping next to his human , his mom Ashlynn Estes, Nov 26, 2023. Garfield was born in his Papa’s garage where someone had dropped off his pregnant momma. Three kittens were born that day. From the first day little 4yr old Ashlynn seen them, she instantly claimed him and named him Garfield . His fur sister, Chloe lives at home with Aunt Hannah and Lucky, his other sister, lives right next door with his Mama & Papa Douglas.

From the day she could carry him around , Garfield and his human mom, Ashlynn, have been true best friends. She would swing with him on their playground, push him in her doll strollers, dress him with her doll clothes and they slept together every night. He cuddled with her, always laid around her head making biscuits in her hair. Their other special times were eating pizza or alfredo together and he loved parmesan cheese. He had his very own attitude and personality. He would eat, sleep, cuddle and enjoy his treats. He only played and acted like a cat when he thought no one seen him. Out of all the Furbabies and ‘the Estes Zoo’ Garfield was the boss!

Garfield is survived by his favorite human, his best friend and mom Ashlynn Estes; His Pops and Grams, Aaron and Angie Estes; Aunt Hannah Estes (Zach). Several fur siblings: Bunny Theo; Cat siblings: Chloe, Milo and Boots; Dog siblings: Millie and Remi; One dog nephew, Cooper Estes. All of the home. His great-grandparents, MaMa Connie and PaPa Randy Douglas, whos garage Garfield was born in. His dog Aunt, Letty Lou. The ‘Douglas family’ that lived next door. Uncle Josh and Aunt Ashley. Four special cousins, Westin, Avery, Ava and Grayson. They always tried playing with him, but Garfield slapped them away.

Within four months, Garfield lost four fur family members, all of the home. His dog brothers, Rascal, Ruger and Marley and bunny nephew, Beau. Our house definitely feels emptier and our hearts will never be full again.

I loved you your whole life, now I will miss you the rest of mine.
